Viewing Stone
If you would like to view stone that is available for purchase you need to contact Ngāi Tahu Pounamu on 03 974 0164 and let them know the stone code/codes of the stone and also which Rūnanga certified the stone; we will then arrange a time for you to meet with Te Rūnanga o Makaawhio or Te Rūnanga o Ngati Waewae.
Dispatch
Orders are dispatched from Ngāi Tahu Pounamu during business hours 8:30am – 4:00pm. Products are received if accepted by a person at your nominated delivery address. Insurance only covers the delivery of the item to this nominated address. Shipping details must include a street address and daytime telephone number. Your order cannot be dispatched if these details are missing.
Ngāi Tahu Pounamu reserves the right to limit quantities and may discontinue accepting orders at any time. Ngāi Tahu Pounamu reserves the right to accept or reject orders in any combination of products(s), whatever it determines to be in its best interest.
New Zealand Delivery
All order are shipped directly to you from Hokitika.
Courier Post is the default delivery company for barcodes and all raw stone weighing under 25kg.
All raw stone that is over this weight will be shipped with Mainfreight.
All orders are tracked and traced and the tracking number will be sent to you once the parcel is dispatched.
* Orders will not be processed on Saturdays, Sundays or National public holidays.
Signature Required
For all orders, a signature will be required upon receipt of the goods. This is mandatory in order for the parcels insurance. Because of this, it is always a good idea to get your order shipped to a work address where its likelier there is someone you know to sign for the order on your behalf.
