Initially inspired to carve a pounamu for his wife and children, Jason immediately connected and developed a relationship with the stone. Jason is a self taught carver. I consider it an absolute privilege to be able to work with Pounamu. To be a part of other peoples journeys in a small way and to see first hand the emotional and spiritual connection Pounamu makes with everyone it touches. Jason has also created Pounamu for Beyonce, Will I Am, India Arie, Stan Walker and and Jo Dukie (Fat Freddys Drop) and commissions personalized pieces to order. Jason carves various collections consisting of many statement pieces that empower the wearer or owner. It is my intention to push boundaries and ultimately pass this knowledge and craft onto my children – Jason Nathan
